About

In 2000, we at Community of Hope – Prince of Peace were looking for a place to be of assistance in Haiti, where we could develop a long-term relationship for the purpose of joint effort with the community for health promotion and education, as well as construction.

When we began plans for a team from Prince of Peace to go in 2000, Bonodo was suggested as a work site, and we began there. We now also work in St Georges at Childrens Village- www.harvesthousehaiti.com. We currently are taking short term mission teams to Haiti once or twice a year.

-We have the responsibility to share what we know of Jesus with others, everywhere. Some of us are called to do this internationally. All of us are called to do it. We do this in all of our activities, as the Holy Spirit leads.

What Can You Do To Help?

-PRAY. The first and foremost need of any mission is prayer.

-Do you see God working here? Join Him.

-Talk to us about how to help an individual—trip preparations, prayer for teams, donation collection, fundraiser help.

-Let us know what you would like to do in or for Haiti!

Mt 25:34-39 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
Mt 25:40 “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’

We are to serve as we are able. All of us.
